Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking an
Associate Financial Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The selected candidate will become an integral part of the Special Electronic Mission Aircraft (SEMA) team tasked with providing guidance and support to the business unit for all planning and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located on-site in

Essential Functions
- Review, analysis and assessment of program financial statements
- Monthly review of organizational financial results as compared to plan, prior forecast and prior actual results
- Assist in preparation of budgets and schedule for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present findings
- Helps coordinate monthly forecast updates and to prepare organizational monthly operational reviews
- Helps develop quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) reviews for business unit and Division review.
- Need to work closely with the business unit operating unit to meet deliverables accurately and timely.
- Requires the ability to work with large data sets and to be able to maintain, improve and own the data files.
- Support internal, external and government audits as required.
- Support ad-hoc financial modeling and requests.
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Financial Analyst: - This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 4 years of Financial Analyst or related experience in financial analysis or business-related professional field.
- Will consider one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 0 years of Financial Analyst or related experience in financial analysis or business-related professional field.
- Master's degree with a minimum of 0 plus years of Financial Analyst or related experience in financial analysis or business-related professional field.
- Experience with MS Office, including Excel
- Must have or ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications :
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to multitask
- SAP experience would be a plus
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- DoD Secret security clearance
Salary Range: $52,700 USD - $79,100 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
