Job Description Experimental Assembly Controller Indianapolis, IN A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Experimental Assembly Controller. As an Experimental Assembly Controller you will be accountable for maintaining configuration control of test articles (Gas Turbine Engines, rigs and alternative power sources).You will manage hardware flow throughout the test article life-cycle. Key Accountabilities: Order and receive all test article hardware from Rolls-Royce storage Coordinate the rework / repair and the return to storage of test article hardware Coordinate assembly build and disassembly efforts Work closely with program engineering to manage test article Bill of Material Maintain and actively support continuous improvement of systems and processes accountable for inventory control of hardware needed for and removed from test vehicles and equipment Write Request for Test Services (RfTS), Work Requests, Shippers, e-IPTs... for all Engine hardware processed or moved from the Assembly Floor Basic Requirements: High School Graduate 1+ year experience with complex assembly management (configuration and / or quality control) Must be U.S. Citizen to be considered for this role Preferred Requirements: FAA A & P License 2+ years’ experience with gas turbine power systems Good communication skills, both written and verbal; good interpersonal skills; proven team leadership capability; and the ability to make sound business decisions Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Ability to plan and finish assigned tasks on schedule Pioneer the next generation of innovation.
