Eatonâs Electrical Division is currently seeking a Global Account Manager to join our team. This position is remote based in Houston, Texas.
Position Overview:
The Primary purpose of the Global Account Manager is to maintain and grow Eaton GEIS relationship within our global DCS accounts, covering key function from Headquarters into regions. Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for your accounts to deliver profitable sales growth and market share within the DCS account.
Reporting to the Global Accounts Director and working with the regional sales leadership your focus will be on strategical engagement of global DCS accounts for the Eaton GEIS product offering. Engaging with commercial, marketing and product teams within Headquarters to ensure high visibility and engagement of Eaton GEIS. Working within all sales regions to deliver penetration plans and increase our RFQ rates and market share.

In this function you will:
- Develop a trust-based relationship with key global and regional stakeholders (Commercial, product, marketing, procurement & strategy) to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and priorities.
- Gain in-depth understanding of the DCS global initiatives such as BCC manufacture, global procurement, purchasing platforms.
- Develop, adapt and execute a tailored strategic growth plan for each account, communicate to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Develop opportunities on existing products to gain measurable market share as well as assess and bring new Eaton products in to the business offering.
- Update and manage global price files and discount structure. Communicating to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Chair and coordinate monthly and quarterly business review calls to ensure relationship is on track and key trends and potential growth targets identified.
- Key Account growth targets achieved or exceeded
- Accurate input in to budgeting and strategic growth plans process for key accounts.
- Measure and create strategy for 3rd party / channel partners supplying DCS accounts.
- Key project tracking within DCS and Eaton to ensure our strategical approach is coordinated and all key projects have Eaton coverage.
- Undertake competitor tracking within DCS to ensure visibility of market share and corresponding actions are taken, feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Managing and attending annual exhibitor events to promote Eaton solutions.
- Ensuring that all ethical, Health and safety policies are followed and promoted within the business.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Technology from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum (5) years experience working within the global harsh and hazardous process control, telecoms or fire and gas markets.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 60 miles of Houston, Tx will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
