Working within the People Group (Commercial & International) unit, the Senior People Manager – Asia acts the strategic HR business partner to all Business Units across the Qantas Group present in Asia, working closely with senior business leaders including Executive Managers and Heads of departments. This position leads and implements People plans, initiatives, programs and procedures at a senior level across large and/or multiple business units, covering a broad portfolio and delivering high strategic advice and support. In addition, this role is accountable for ensuring regulatory compliance in market pertaining to employees, ongoing management and review of employee compensation & benefits and leading union engagement and negotiation.
