The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment. The position will maintain vendor accounts and relationships, code and route invoices to approvers and process weekly payments. Other duties will include monitoring vendor payment agreements and reconciling payable reports on a monthly basis.
Here’s what you’ll do
- Responsible for data entry, category coding and processing of vendor invoices and ensuring they are properly captured in Oracle Fusion ERP
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders
- Respond to vendor inquiries related to invoice status
- Maintain and set up vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain accounting records associated with accounts payable
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Assist internal stakeholders in expediting approval of invoices and responding to questions about vendor accounts
- Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Accounts Payable
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Accounting
- Experience in Oracle Cloud
- eMRO (Trax) Experience highly desired
