Synopsis
The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for maintaining the company's quality management system and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. They will also conduct internal audits and investigations, and monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system, as well as ensuring the quality of course materials and delivery.
Accountabilities
- Maintain the company's quality management system and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system and make recommendations for improvements
- Contribute to the analysis and presentation of data and trends from the Quality System
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Business Development, Strategy, and Training Administration, to ensure that all processes and procedures are in compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, such as manuals, procedures, work instructions, and quality system records
- Participate as required in quality audits and inspections
- Keep abreast of industry developments and updates to regulations to ensure that the company stays in compliance
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aviation management or education
- 2-3 years of experience in a quality department role, preferably in the aviation industry
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations
- Experience conducting internal audits and investigations
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, is a plus
- Experience in course development and training delivery is a plus
