Role Summary
We are currently recrutiing for a Deputy Maintenance Manager to support our Maintenance department.
Located at Sola base, the role reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for supporting the overall management of all maintenance activities to meet CHC, customer and regulatory requirements maintaining a safe operational environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership qualities, and contribute towards a collaborative and agile team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to provide business leadership and overall management of CHC Helikopter Services Maintenance
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in supervising and supporting all aspects of the department
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the department
- Act as a deputy for the Maintenance Manager
- Be the focal point of contact for the different bases with regards to tools and equipment
- Ensure compliance with the company, clients and authorities quality assurance requirements and contribute in audits
- Assist in non-conformity processes, HSE related issues, audits and participate in internal investigation groups
- Participate in Occurrence Review Board (ORB) and Maintenance Review Board (MRB) meetings and activities
- Facilitate quality meetings within the department and represent the department in global meetings
- Responsible to establish and follow-up on procedures and processes
- Be a part of the Technical duty team
- May be assigned other duties within areas of responsibility

Essential
- Relevant higher education
- Relevant experience with maintenance or technical quality and safety
- Effective leadership and management skills, ability to mentor and drive a high performing team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence all internal stakeholdes and external bodies recognising cultural, legal and regional diversity
- Fluent in both English and Norwegian language (or other Scandinavian language)
- Strong knowlede of MS Office software suite
- Able to handle themselves and perform their assigned duties in stressful and critical situations
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills with an ability to produce results
- Highly effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Focus on clients and service delivery
- Demonstrate alignment to the CHC values - Agility, Collaboration, Innovation and Simplicity
Desirable
- Knowledge if EASA regulations applicable to an Air operator
- Experience from a supervisory og management role is preferred
- Experience with audits and / or non-conformities is preferred
- Education and / or experience from aviation will be preferred
