Crane Aerospace and Electronics has a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Systems Engineering Manager at our Lynnwood, WA campus. You will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the Systems group of Sensing & Power Systems engineering department. Allocate resources and keep track of all system engineering tasks and activities. This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire. Responsibilities: Determine resources and processes needed to support the group. Plan, organize, control, and lead multiple projects for the design and development of Sensing and Power products. Provide direction and guidance to subordinates on project teams. Ensure standardization of products and processes across multiple projects. Anticipate and resolve major program obstacles to maintain overall programs objectives. Maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. Fully support and implement Crane‘s fair employment practices in hiring, development and promotion of employees. Minimum Requirements: Experience: 5 years experience managing employees or team leading through project/program management. 10 years experience in the design and development of aerospace electronic control units. Knowledge: Working knowledge of practical managerial techniques, leadership and financial management as well as all factors affecting business results Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Electrical, Electronics, Physics or related field. Requires approximately 15% travel to support customers Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
