The Manager, Process Improvement & Innovation provides leadership and direction to various aspects of Disability Management (DM) strategic functions; namely process improvement, system efficiency and upgrades, and business innovation. This role includes collaboration and engagement of all key departments and implementation of DM programs/initiatives to support the business needs while managing and measuring cost efficiencies.
Key Functions & Accountabilities: (Responsibilities, Activities, Authority levels, etc.)

Responsible for the development & oversight of all DM processes and procedures.

Leads the delivery and performance measurement of DM programs in support of strategic planning, goal setting, and performance pillars for gHR.

Looks for areas of opportunity and drives ongoing new business innovation initiatives and business, process and cost efficiencies.

Ensures all programs are delivered in accordance with DM best practices and gHR governance, to ensure consistency and quality of DM delivery system wide.

Collaborate and lead DM digital initiatives with HRIT, including AIIM development and UiPath.

Responsible for the oversight of DM gHR policies and KB content.

Responsible for data maintenance and governance of DM SharePoint site and documentation control.

Develop and maintain comprehensive DM documentation nomenclature, matrixes and annual reviews.

Oversight of the ACDMP guide and all employee Disability Handbooks.

Responsible for all DM employee communication and package development/updates.

Support and provide guidance for the delivery and deployment of all DM programs.

Initiate collaboration with internal gHR departments and Branch stakeholders to maintain compliance.

Ensures effective and timely communication within the team and internal/external stakeholders.

Maintains proactive and continuous communication and collaboration with their superior to foster partnerships and ensure programs meet expectations and operational needs.

Develops and implements effective project workplans and provides regular updates to their superior and stakeholders.

Responsible to monitor and reply to DM related Yammer content.

Coordinate and collaborate on gHR calendar with CoE.

Administration and support of new team member onboarding.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent presentation with solid verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to lead and influence through change management
-
Ability to think strategically and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
-
Project Management Certification (PMP) an asset
-
Disability Management experience an asset

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Visio)

Excellent knowledge of vendor management and system projects preferred
-
Experience developing, executing, and maintaining business process improvements
