Temporary Food Runner

Individuals will be required to work between 16 – 40 hours per week depending on shift pattern. £10.42 – £11.60 per hour.

Candidates must be prepared to work shifts between the hours of 05:00 – 23:00 covering a shift pattern which will include weekends and bank holidays.

We are currently recruiting Food Runner for a variety of major providers of retail services within Heathrow Airport. The role of a Food Runner will be to deliver great customer service and identify customer needs and opportunities to increase shop sales.

The main duties of a Food Runner will include:

• Greeting guests in a warm, welcoming manner.
• Serving food and beverages in a timely manner to the correct tables.
• Ensuring your guests are enjoying their stay and answering any questions you may have.
• Clearing tables correctly & removing dirties to the pot wash area.
• Supporting other team members as and when help or support is required,

The essential requirements to be successful as a Food Runner include:

• Excellent customer service and upselling skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work well in a team as well as using their own initiative
• A well groomed and smart appearance
• Ability to commute to and from Heathrow Airport by public transport

To be considered for this position, applicants must have experience in a similar role such as, Waiter, Waitress, Busboy, Food Runner, Barman, & Catering Assistant.

Successful applicants must be able to provide a 5 year checkable history for referencing purposes and will also be subject to the following security checks and airside clearance at their own expense:
