Temporary Kitchen Porter

Individuals will be required to work between 16 – 40 hours per week depending on shift pattern. £10.42 – £11.50 per hour

Candidates must be prepared to work shifts between the hours of 05:00 – 23:00 covering a shift pattern which will include weekends and bank holidays.

We are currently recruiting Kitchen Porter for a variety of major providers of retail services within Heathrow Airport. The role of a Kitchen Porter will be to deliver great customer service and identify customer needs and opportunities to increase sales.

The main duties of a Kitchen Porter will include:

• Correct use of dishwashing equipment (training will be provide)
• Disposing of waste as and when required
• Correctly placing recyclables into their correct bins
• Checking deliveries and promptly placing items into storage using a first in first out procedure.
Sweeping and mopping of all areas back of house.• Processing payment transactions (cash and card)
• Good knowledge of COSHH (full training will be provided)
• Supporting other team members as and when help or support is required,

The essential requirements to be successful as a Kitchen Porter include:

• Good understanding of the English language
• Ability to multi task effectively.
• The ability to work well in a team as well as using their own initiative
• Clean and smart appearance
• Ability to commute to and from Heathrow Airport by public transport
