Temporary Chef

We are seeking all grades of Chefs to join our temporary brigade.

Individuals will be required to work between 16 – 40 hours per week depending on shift pattern and client needs. £10.42 – £16.40 per hour.

Candidates must be prepared to work shifts between the hours of 05:00 – 23:00 covering a shift pattern which will include weekends and bank holidays.

We are currently recruiting Chefs for a variety of major providers of retail services within Heathrow Airport. The role of a Chef will be to deliver great customer service and identify customer needs and opportunities to increase sales.

The main duties of a Chef will include:

• Prepare and cook the dishes in an effective and timely manner
• Holding a Basic Food Hygiene level 2 or 3 certificate.
• Good knowledge and understanding of allergens
• Being able to cook using a spec sheet.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and its principles.
• Working as a team.
• Being able to work in a pressured and often hot environment.
• Operating a clean as you go policy.

The essential requirements to be successful as a Chef include:

• Good understanding of the English language
• Ability to multi task effectively.
• The ability to work well in a team as well as using their own initiative
• Clean and smart appearance
• Ability to commute to and from Heathrow Airport by public transport
