Job Summary:
Work remotely! Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be a part of high-level activity and collaborative environment as part of our procurement team. In this role, you will procure material for the Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers including material program managers, programs, manufacturing, planning, engineering, and mission assurance /quality.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Provide guidance and support for a 3rd party procurement team (Each of the bullets below are in a Support role)
- Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy.
- Perform routine post-award management activities including PO acknowledgement, delivery status (upkeep PO notes), expedites, risk mitigation, receiving issues and invoice issues (Primarily through metric reviews).
- Lead weekly meetings to include reviewing metrics and other critical needs.
- Focal point to set up and monitor contractors.
- Escalation POC between RTX and supplier for problem resolution internally and externally
- Setting priorities and ensuring completion in a timely manner
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
- Must be able to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities, and IPT decisions
- Review Supplier change requests, Reps & Certs, and Terms and Condition exceptions
- Support internal and external meetings

Qualifications you Must have:
- Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
- Experience leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution.
- DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Demonstrated Leadership skills
- Experience in negotiation (internal, across the businesses; external with suppliers) - ability to lead formal negotiations and teleconferences (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:

Additional Details:
The salary range for this role is $94,000 - $196,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
