We are delighted to announce an opportunity with our client who is a prestigious VVIP Operator in the Middle East who are currently looking for a Development Engineering & Project Director.

As the Development Engineering & Project Director you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and managing the Development Engineering and Project Department to:

  • Manage the fleet modification,

  • Comply with CARM regulation,

  • Develop and amend Aircraft Standard and control manuals, such as AMP, MEL, CAME/MOE, and PPM…

  • Monitor the fleet reliabilities and recommend improvement to maintenance control program.

  • Manage aircraft major projects contracts, Aircraft buying, Selling, Interior Modification, any major modification.

  • Manage the fleet’s reliability, safety, and economy of the Presidential Flight fleet through cost-effective modifications and accurate procedures.

  • Ensuring that the aircrafts and equipment are maintained and modified to the highest standards to the highest levels and in the most cost-effective manner, in accordance with PF policy, safety, security and legal aviation requirements.

  • Comply with all GCAA, CAR M (CAMO) requirement.

  • Follow up with Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Cabin Maintenance performance and introduce improvement to the Process and Procedures.

  • Coordinate with Aircraft Maintenance and with Planning and Tech Record section for airworthiness requirement compliance.

The requirements of Development Engineering & Project Director:

  • B.Sc. Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Airspace/Aircraft engineering or Higher Diploma in Aviation or equivalent

    • MBA or other management qualifications (desirable but not essential)

  • CAMO regulation

    • EASA / FAA / CAR145 and CAR M course

  • 15 years’ experience as an Engineer in Aviation

  • 5 years’ experience as a CAMO support or Development Engineer

  • 10 years’ experience on the base or line Maintenance 

  • 3 years Managerial experience

  • Good command of English language and writing skills

  • Ability to systemize cases.

  • Computer Literate and MS software knowledge, Excel sheet, PowerPoint, Word.
