Job Title: Sr Spec, Program Finance
Job Location: Camden NJ
Essential Functions:
Reporting to the Manager of Program Cost Accounting, the Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Preparing weekly/monthly internal key performance metrics and program review packages for senior management.
- Preparing financial analysis including Estimate at completion, variance, risk and profit/loss analyses, etc.
- Assessing and Preparing ASC606 Revenue Recognition forms.
- Developing budgets to meet contractual/project financial requirements on a program.
- Monitoring contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures (SOX).
- Preparing and analyzing project cost estimates at completion inclusive of forecasted projections for labor, material, and subcontract expenditures.
- Developing monthly forecasts for key financial metrics including revenue, profit/loss, and cash flow. Reporting weekly on performance to forecast. Will prepare and submit journal entries at month end accounting close.
- Preparing program material and subcontractor financial analysis and report findings to management.
- Acting as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
Qualifications:
The Successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- At least 5-10 years’ experience in financial analysis and reporting, inclusive of cost accounting, required. Prior experience in the defense industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Measurements (MPM) a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work required.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer aptitude including strong proficiency in Excel, including a proficiency using Vlookup and Pivot Table functions, and Powerpoint.
- MS Project, COBRA, Hyperian Planning, and Costpoint experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $68,500 - $127,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
