As the Manager, Strategic Procurement and Partnershipsyou willbe responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement cycle and negotiating with suppliers to meet operational and financial requirements of the Airline. Develop the company procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve company objectives. Add value to the company through developing and managing performance aspects of major contracts and subcontracts. To ensure consistency across all data management platforms and reconstruct procurement system to reduce financial gaps and increase efficiency in the invoice processing. Responsible for cultivating, maintaining, and developing relationships among all airport partners.

What You’ll Do:
- Work with RFPs (Request for Proposals), SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and SGHA (Standard Ground Handling Agreement)
- Conduct a pre-qualification process of prospective bidders and rate analysis to ensure ideal candidates are selected. Prepares analysis of proposed rates and historical rates to identify cost increases or savings.
- Negotiate rates and Term & Conditions with supplier executives.
- Prepare a cost benefit analysis for all competing vendors.
- Conduct regular meetings with competing suppliers to ensure the quotes are up to date.
- Collaborate with executives and support with all contract management administration duties.
- Liaise with different departments/vendors to ensure clear and concise preparation of documents.
- Conduct internal meetings with VPs, Directors, Senior Managers and The President to discuss the results and next steps in the process.
- Manage of bidding process, including bid period.
- Perform a station start up audit to ensure the operational requirements are met before awarding the contract.
- Set up contract induction meetings ensuring that all team members are conversant with obligations as stipulated in the Contract.
- Maintain vendor contact through professional letters and communiqués.
- Follow up with suppliers on contractual items that are not being fulfilled.
- Ensure consistency and quality amongst all vendor contracts.
- Strictly control modifications to the contracts, negotiating requests for modifications, and claims, if necessary.
- Ensure the assembly and maintenance of contract records, for the purpose of administering contracts.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable and Vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Conduct regular meetings with the president, VPs, Directors and Senior Managers to discuss budgets, operational concerns, and improvement strategies.
- Populate and maintain contracts within procurement system (Airpas).
- Liaise with Accounts Payable and Vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Facilitate contract induction meeting to ensure that the Ground Operations and Finance teams are aware of requirements as stipulated in the agreements.
- Ensure consistency and quality amongst all vendor contracts.
- Investigate relevancy and accuracy of cost elements in Airpas.
- Review all changes in contract amendments and ensure the changes are made in Airpas.
- Carry out quality checks on data being exported into Airpas from various sources.
- Test and set up new cost elements as it pertain to new terms and conditions.
- Ensure the financial obligations are within the scope of the company’s budget.
- Conducts training sessions for new users.
- Build a foster a positive relationship with all airport partners.
- Conduct regular meetings with Airport CEOs and Directors to develop partnership programs.
- Negotiate Operational incentive and marketing dollars to reduce internal costs.
- Work closely with VP of Planning and VP, Commercial Operations on a regular basis to strategies profitable AC routes.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to initiate marketing plans for various regions.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure all programs are closed and accounts are up to date at the end of each season.
- Take part in Airport community meetings to stay up to date with any changes.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Airline President, VPs, Directors and Senior Managers to discuss budgets, operational concerns, and improvement strategies.
What You’ll Need:
- Have at least five (5) to seven (7) years of work experience in the Airline industry
- Have at least one (1) to three (3) years of supervisory/management experience
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong time management skills
- Have important attention to detail
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate Leadership
