The Program Manager guides program performance including execution, financial goals, risk management, schedules and other contractual commitments.
The Program Manager advises management and customers through briefing packages, financial reviews, technical proposals, Gate Reviews and Program Plans which accurately reflect the program's health. The Program Manager collaborates to identify and provide insight in the elimination of roadblocks.
They are part of the Large Commercial Engine (LCE) business which is an important growth segment for Collins Aerospace.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the internal Large Commercial Engine (LCE) team
- Present plans and status tasks regularly to customers and executives
- Set and monitor annual budgets
- Support customer and supplier proposal and negotiations
- Drive product cost to lowest possible target to achieve performance
- Interface with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion
- Support performance targets and direct work to achieve these targets
- Collaborate with a cross functional team to complete tasks on time and on budget
- Collaborate cross functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations
The Manger reports directly to the Large Commercial Engines Senior Program Manager (Value Stream Leader, OCE/eFAST) up through the Program Director, Program Executive Director, to the President of the Engine Controls Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working collaboratively with a cross-functional team, managing multiple tasks and ensuring deliverables are met on time
- Experience implementing strategies to achieve quality, delivery and cost performance
- Customer facing experience managing risk

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
