Job Description:Manage the tax accounting processes for the U.S. tax impacts on foreign operations. Manage the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision calculations for U.S. tax impacts of foreign operations, including current and deferred tax reporting pursuant to ASC 740. Prepare and maintain required documentation for discussion with management and external auditors. Ensure adherence to department policies regarding managing, updating and ensuring tax work is in compliance with required SOX control objectives.
Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:- Familiarity with U.S. earnings and profit calculations for non-U.S. entities.
- Knowledge of U.S. corporate tax matters for non-U.S. operations such as foreign tax credits, Subpart F, look-thru, GILTI, BEAT, dual consolidated losses, foreign currency considerations, etc.
- Understanding of U.S. international tax attributes - PTEP, tax basis (inside & outside), etc.
- Experience with local country quarterly/annual tax provision calculations for non-U.S. operations pursuant to U.S. GAAP accounting principles as determined under ASC 740 including legal entity current and deferred tax reporting, effective tax rate management, and accounting for uncertain tax positions.
- Ability to proactively innovate, create and drive efficiency. Demonstrated skill of evaluating, designing, and implementing improvements to streamline and rationalize manually intensive tax processes.
- Knowledge of CorpTax (a considerable plus), Oracle Cloud, Oracle Essbase, Alteryx, and OneSource DataFlow & Workflow
- CPA or advanced degree in accounting or finance.
- Excellent problem solving, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related discipline. Five (5) years of tax accounting experience, including five (5) years of experience in the area of international tax. Knowledge of large service or business operations required. Strong management, human relations and communications skills.
