Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:
- Create eVTOL pilot operating handbook performance tables and pre-flight performance predictions
- Work with aircraft test and simulation teams to improve flight simulation model fidelity
- Use analysis and simulation techniques to optimize vehicle and powertrain performance
What you need:
- Rising junior or senior at accredited college or university in an engineering or science discipline
- Ability to learn and adapt within an ambiguous environment
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Eager to learn, positive attitude and highly motivated
Bonus Qualifications:
- Private pilot’s license or understanding of FAA regulations for aircraft certification and operation
- Completion of Aircraft Performance, Stability & Control coursework or experience estimating vehicle performance
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
Additional Details:
- Program duration will be approximately June - August 2023
- Must be able to work a full time schedule (approximately 40 hours per week) at our office location
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
