Be the front line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. You will provide education of Honeywell product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops. You will maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced team
environment to maintain an annual sales quota for software licenses and
services revenue.
- Manage and drive the sales
process from lead identification through close.
- Develop sales territory by
managing existing accounts and prospecting new leads and business
contacts.
- Lead a presales engagement
team in developing sales strategy and execution presenting our products
and solutions in a compelling manner.
- Work with the marketing team
to develop new ideas and marketing campaigns to attract new customers.
- Work with the product strategy
team to identify critical business issues and develop strategic solutions
and new sales opportunities.
- Willingness to travel as
required.
- The candidate should have 5+ years of successful sales in a complex selling environment (multiple decision makers, global teams, enterprise solutions, etc.) with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience selling enterprise business applications to the life science industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership, customer relationship and negotiation skills are required.
- Strong verbal
and written communication skills.
- Situational fluency in the
critical business issues confronting the Life Sciences Quality and
Manufacturing functions as well as current Good Manufacturing Practices
(cGMP) is preferred.
