Responsibilities:
- Invest time in building market presence and networks to ‘get us in the door’ on RFPs, tenders, quotes, etc.
- Ensure countries/station performances meet targets set.
- Lead and design negotiations that build up the relationships between customers, partners, and vendors.
- Apply business sense and understand the trade-off between the frequency of orders and rates.
- Identify key market intelligence required to ensure AirAsia engages value-adding, ‘likely-to-switch’ customers.
- Lead the creation of presentations on products and services; provide guidance to executives.
- Develop and constantly seek to fine-tune the sales process.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences or special events.
- Keep motivation high among team members and allocate time to coach team members on processes and methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years experience in sales, business development, or related role.
- Experience in the Airline business, or the travel business is the advantage.
- Having experience in working with a direct report, fast learner, and passion for sales with achieving the target.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, confident in presenting, strong business sense, and able to apply judgment during negotiations.
- Good communication in English is a must.
- Proficient in computer literacy such as MS Office and G-suites.
