Position Summary:

The JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) team is searching for a Graphic Designer with a flair for clean bold design and a passion for typography and photography. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating striking graphics for both print and digital media across multiple sub brands of JetBlue, including but not limited to JetBlue Vacations and Paisly. A key function of the role is to partner with the User Experience (UX) Designers to ensure that designs are user-centric, accessible, holistic and functional within an established ecosystem of design and technology. This role will also work closely with the Sr. Copywriter designing captivating and effective marketing collateral while upholding brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design with solid consistency and accuracy to ensure minimal errors
  • Comfortable reviewing data to analyze the success of their designs and design to support key performance indicators
  • Produce digital and print solutions including website designs and assets, email banners, social assets, Inflight and in Airport assets, event materials, posters, invites, swag, etc.
  • Source photography to be used on assets
  • Manage multiple projects and revisions while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with Sr. Copywriter, Marketing, Tech, UX and other internal clients to ensure consistency of brand identity and that designs support the JTP business goals
  • Create designs that are compatible with User Interface (UI) component library
  • Use UX heuristics to ensure that good UX principles are followed
  • Adopt new tools and technology to work efficiently alone and with others
  • Participate in agile workflow: grooming, planning, estimations and accountability
  • Conduct generative research for concepts and designs, and evaluative research on how designs perform
  • Assist with ad-hoc UX/UI design
  • Provide design solutions from concept to completion
  • Be a brand ambassador and ensure consistency and accuracy with use of branding
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and at least two (2) years of previous relevant experience
  • Two (2) years in a corporate design environment
  • Strong knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Flexible and able to work at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Self-motivated and flexible in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations to peers and senior leaders
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship 


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Ability to create GIFs, APNGs and animated SVGs
  • Video editing and creation capabilities
  • Environmental graphic design

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond at short notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)
