The role
As a supervisor – Pipe you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Leading and motivating a group of operators to safely achieve defined packages of work
Day to day,
• Efficiently utilise employees in the execution of the contracted work, ensuring that start/stop times, attendance standards, behaviour standards are always maintained,
• Manage the workload to meet contract requirements whilst achieving cost, time, and quality requirements.
• You will establish and ensure that safe working practices and the working environment is in accordance with the Company policy,
• Set production targets to employees daily ensuring achievement,
• Take ownership of activity levels within the area and liaise and work with planning, materials, warehousing, quality, and other support functions to ensure a co-ordinated team approach.
Essential experience of the Supervisor - Pipe
• Time served with extensive recent and relevant experience in a Mechanical discipline. ONC/HNC preferred but not essential.
• Requirement to read and understand Pipe Installation Drawing’s
• Requirement to understand P&ID Drawings
• Experienced in computer use e.g., MS Office, MS Word, and Power Point.
This role is based full time on site at Rosyth
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
