L3Harris is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Cyber Intelligence Specialist will perform the role of Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for multiple government programs and customers. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining artifacts and Body of Evidence (BOE) in support of the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of accredited information systems, assessing the security strength of information systems through compliance and vulnerability scanning, assessing the effectiveness of approved security controls though continuous monitoring, and analyzing system activity through audit log reviews.
Essential Functions:
- Perform continuous monitoring on assigned information systems and validate the effectiveness of approved security controls
- Develop and maintain artifacts and documentation in support of A&A activities
- Review system and user activity by analyzing information system audit logs natively or with a System Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool
- Perform and analyze periodic scans of assigned information systems using SCAP Compliance Checker and ACAS / Nessus scanning applications
- Perform periodic assessments of assigned information systems against the configuration standards of the DISA STIGs
- Review and evaluate proposed configuration changes to assigned information systems and provide recommendations to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Program Manager (PM)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, data spills, and malicious activities involving assigned information systems
- Attend program and staff meetings to provide cyber awareness to program stakeholders and evaluate impact of program plans and milestones against assigned information systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Security+ Certification (or equivalent IAM/IAT II level certification)
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience performing cybersecurity and/or information assurance activities on information systems
- Experience performing and analyzing configuration or vulnerability scans using SCAP and ACAS/Nessus
- Knowledge and understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) A&A life cycle and security control families
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Prior experience as an ISSO on Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) or Special Access Program (SAP) information systems
- Experience and knowledge using Splunk Enterprise to perform information system audits
- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) or other government A&A databases
- Experience with Linux or Unix based information system auditing
- Experience with system and network architecture and design
- CISSP Certification (or equivalent IAM/IAT III certification)
- Experience developing and disseminating cybersecurity and information assurance related policies and procedures
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $73,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
