Commercial Business Analyst - Luton/Hybrid
Joining our Revenue Management & Trading Team and reporting into a Senior Manager for one of our regions, you’ll use your commercial awareness and analytical skill to drive performance across our network. Closely monitoring sales trends and the external market, you’ll help design, implement, and monitor initiatives to improve our revenue-per-seat, close revenue gaps, and spot risks and opportunities along the way.

What you need to do the role
In this role we’re looking for people who have both the technical skill to manipulate and analyse data but also the commercial awareness to help us translate analysis into actions. So along with experience of Excel and SQL you’ll have knowledge of:
- Modelling and Analysis
- Revenue Management
Whether that’s been gained with the aviation / travel industry or you’ve gained exposure to these things as a graduate in a analytical or numerical degree - we have roles at a variety of levels and would love to hear from you.
This is a role that will see you interfacing with a number of teams within our Commercial function and across the business including Marketing, PR, Digital, Pricing and Data – so you’ll need to have good interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Your list of responsibilities could include things like:
- Conduct specific, bespoke analyses depending on trading needs, for example analysing performance around notable events and peak periods
- Analysing and implementing pricing changes to support the trading team
- Performing specific analysis required to support other departments the trading team interacts with
- Supporting on specific projects/actions/trading needs, that might involve jointly working with or liaising with the central revenue management teams
Lastly, you’ll need to be a self-motivated person who has the ability to deal with ambiguity in a changing environment – applying your problem solving skills along the way.
Location and Hours of work
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week, Hybrid working 1-2 days in the office.
