ACCOUNTABILITY:
This role will partner with key stakeholders and align HR functional leads on planning, development, and implementation of a talent plan that enables business outcomes and employee engagement. The successful candidate is accountable for participating in projects, from need identification to implementation, considering the unique needs of our internal customers and in close partnership with the HR Centers of Excellence (Talent & Organizational Development, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Employee Central & Advocacy).
Responsibilities will be broad: leadership consulting on HR matters, people manager coaching & development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment and workforce planning, talent sourcing, hiring & retention strategies, and HR program development and implementation.

Role and Responsibility
- Be a trusted coach and advisor, helping our leaders work through challenges (big and small) and driving change within their teams.
- Consult with managers and leaders to craft meaningful strategies to retain, engage and develop high-performing team
- Provide support and guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures, including disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring CAE is in line with employment legislation and company policy.
- First-level employee relations matters/investigation
- Disciplinary measures to include Performance Plans and Terminations
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Advise where appropriate and, in conjunction with Sr. HR Leader, arrange learning & development courses for staff as required
- Assist with HR project work to support the Sr. HR Leader in achieving both Company and departmental objectives.
- Responsible for Employee Event coordination and wellness activities
- Responsible for all administrative functions
- Assist with all other HR matters as required by the Sr. HR Leader
- Provide recruitment support for recruitment team
- Participate in the interview process
- Responsible for Implementation and execution of New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
- Responsible for Background Checks
- Liaise with Finance to ensure pay related information is processed.
- Maintain electronic (HR systems) and manual employee files as to provide accurate and up to date records from which to produce reports and auditing information.
- Ensure CAE policies and procedures are kept up to date and in line with employment legislation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field
- 4-6 years’ experience in HR Generalist role required.
- Knowledge of Latin America employment law
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves as needed.
