Position Summary
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Willing to participate in designated training, including classroom training if applicable
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of pump component function and installation
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to fulfill business requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Working knowledge of basic math
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form to present information and respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and suppliers
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel required, MSS and Enovia preferred)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance
- Ability to read blueprints required
- Metrology experience (gage use) required
- GD&T experience preferred
- Zeiss CMM operating and programming experience preferred
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain Gage System as well as control of gages on the shop floor
- Identify gage specifications
- Interpret and follow lengthy instructions and plans
- Use of file and MSS/V Systems to enter and retrieve data
- Perform receiving inspection
- Perform simple and complex layouts on CMM’s, surface plates, optical comparator and other
- Gage calibration and setting,
- Read and interpret blueprints, test specifications, and code sheets
- Follow all standard work, process instructions, and ISO work instructions and procedures
- Work in team environment
- Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations
- Ensure established policies and procedures are followed
- Participate in continuous improvement project team activities
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Supervisor
