Job Description
The Marketing Senior Executive will be responsible for all aspects of marketing of AirAsia for the flights & all other Line-of-Businesses (LOBs) assigned. This includes the success of AirAsia in Hong Kong & Macao.
Reporting to the assigned Head of Marketing (HK & MO) - the Senior Executive, Marketing personnel will manage marketing initiatives, partnerships, distribution and market development activities for the assigned LOBs and projects with the related markets of AirAsia.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall marketing, project management & market development activities for assigned portfolios;
- Responsible for briefing campaigns to internal teams and agencies; analyzing, providing feedback, and approving media recommendations and creative concepts; and overseeing the production of campaign materials to ensure the successful execution of campaigns;
- Monitor, analyse, and report performance results, and ROI against targets set by the business;
- Reports to the line manager and works closely with them to align plans for the business’s goals, direction, and objectives;
- Work closely with all functional support teams in PR, Social, Digital & Brand to align campaigns to ensure smooth execution and consistency in communications;
- Acting as a Brand Ambassador for AirAsia - building the awareness and consistency of AirAsia as a global brand in the airline, travel & e-commerce space
- Assist to produce content strategies for campaigns for various purposes (social media, promotions, EDM, etc.)
- Maintain relationships with external agencies to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
- Conduct market research and prepare marketing reports if needed
- Monitor the progress of campaigns using various metrics and compile monthly reports of performance
- Assist with any ad-hoc day-to-day tasks as required by the team
- Administrative support for processing invoices, keeping a record of all expenses, and budget summary
- Traveling and remote working are both required
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related disciplines;
- 4+ years’ of practical experience in a commercial discipline with marketing
- A passionate and creative go-getter with the ability to work independently;
- A commercial thinker with a keen sense of market & consumer trends;
- Understanding of e-commerce & social media best practices;
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand data and campaign performance;
- Hands-on experience in managing and executing through-the-line marketing campaigns;
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects, both tactical and strategic in a fast-paced environment - achieving both time and budgetary deadlines;
- Ability to copy-write and translate in English and Chinese;
- Ability to be agile and adaptable to change;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Good team player and strong interpersonal skills, creative, dynamic, and innovative;
- Experience within the airline, travel, hospitality industries or e-commerce or similar consumer business is a plus.
