Job Description:
L3Harris is searching for a talented Business Analyst to support the production of next generation, high-speed avionics and space hardware. This position will focus on implementing tools and methodologies to systematically analyze and improve the manufacturing of high-performance avionics hardware including Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA), Sub-Assemblies and Chassis assemblies. Responsible for the creation of data systems and tools that provide reliable system interface support to the operations team. This position will have the opportunity to build reliable tools that use existing system data to provide the shop with the information they need to achieve the upcoming production ramp.
Essential Functions:
- Collects and analyzes data to support studies pertaining to any manufacturing/operations system including cost reduction, lead time optimization, capacity planning, machine utilization, inventory control, etc
- Able to create, utilize, or implement data modeling to support a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Assist Production Supervisors with development, measurement, and evaluation of performance metrics
- Able to analyze, model, and plan daily logistics and workflow to ensure maximized manufacturing and test throughput
- Identifies the concerns of the customer (both Internal or External), actively listens to understand their needs and therefore propose solutions
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Work alongside Program Management, Project Engineering, Operations Leadership, Quality, Test, and Reliability Engineering functions to achieve common program and operational goals
- Prioritize and execute in an environment of many concurrent tasks/responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Business Analyst experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite applications, specifically Microsoft Access
- Advanced skills in database tools and coding to create reports, dashboards and management tools

- Experience with CCA manufacturing process, cables, and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance preferred but not required.
- Familiarity in Control or similar MRP based system and Aegis based Manufacturing Execution System
- Knows Aegis based Manufacturing Execution System (i.e. Fusion V7, FactoryLogix)
- Background in manufacturing of electronics for Military and Government Systems
