We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our Strategy & Programmes team at easyJet holidays as a Senior Strategy Analyst. It's a brand new role that we've created, and we can't wait to have someone like you on board!
Our Strategy & Programmes team plays a vital role in driving our rapid growth and value creation plan. We work closely with the Holidays Management Board, helping them answer those big strategic questions and identify the best opportunities for our company's recovery. Our ultimate goal is to create a competitive advantage and drive shareholder value.
As the Senior Strategy Analyst, you'll report directly to our Senior Strategy Manager. One of your key areas of focus will be building out our competitor and market intelligence. You'll dive deep into research, exploring market trends, sizes, and the competitive landscape, and you'll be the go-to person for creating in-depth assessments of our competitors and core markets. These assessments will inform and guide key stakeholders in making collaborative and strategic decisions.
But that's not all! You'll be responsible for providing regular updates and insights to the Holidays Management Board regarding our competitors and the market. Keeping everyone in the loop is crucial to our success, and you'll also maintain and improve a database filled with commercially relevant information, helping us track how we're performing against our key competitors.
Collaboration is key in our team, and you'll work closely with the Senior Strategy Manager and the Head of Strategy & Programmes to deliver on various corporate strategy projects. Together we'll tackle strategic planning, business case development and other high-priority initiatives. Your input and insights will be invaluable in shaping our future.
We're always on the lookout for new opportunities, and that's where your expertise comes in. You'll source and effectively communicate intelligence and insights in specific areas where easyJet holidays has room to grow. Your contributions will help us explore new horizons and expand our reach.
What you’ll bring to the team:
To excel in this role, strong analytical skills are a must. You'll need to have a keen ability to assess business plans, market forecasts, and clear and effective written and oral communication skills as you'll be producing output that's suitable for Board-level audiences. Always keeping an eye on the big picture, you'll be responsible for understanding, monitoring, and reporting on market trends and competitors.
Structured thinking and verbal reasoning capabilities are highly valued, as is experience in applying a wide range of strategic and business analysis frameworks. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential for creating strong and efficient deliverables. Additionally, you should have the ability to learn quickly and work autonomously, while also being a great team player.
While not essential, it would be fantastic if you have extensive knowledge of the travel, packaged holidays, and airline industry trends, events, and market dynamics. Experience working in a fast-paced management consulting or internal group strategy environment would also be highly advantageous and if you have outstanding quantitative and data modelling skills, including financial models such as DCF, as well as experience in data mining and analysing large sources of information, conducting desk research, and interviews, that would be fantastic. However, don't worry if you don't have it all - it's not a deal breaker for us.
We're all about creating a friendly and collaborative work environment, where your unique skills and experiences are valued. If you're ready to make a positive impact and join us on this exciting journey, we can't wait to hear from you!
What’s in it for you:
Not only will you receive a competitive base salary, but you'll also be eligible for our company-wide bonus scheme and a 7% pension contribution. We offer a variety of share options and life assurance too. Plus, we have an impressive range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
But there's more! You'll have 25 days holiday and access to heavily discounted flights for yourself and your loved ones, as well as free easyJet Plus membership and annual holiday vouchers.
The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with two in-office days per week.
At easyJet holidays, we're committed to supporting our team with development opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere. As we create unforgettable experiences for our customers, we strive to do the same for our employees. The possibilities are endless with us, where would you like to go?
