Job Description: Development and in-service support of aircraft Fuel Systems and Environmental Control Systems (ECS) for various military aircraft programmes: Integration of Fuel and ECS sub-systems and equipment into aircraft Solving thermo- and fluid dynamical as well as mechanical engineering tasks and problems, including the use of numerical simulation methods and tools. Support to Environmental Qualification Engineering Taking responsibility for Fuel and ECS work packages in new aircraft programmes regarding planning of scope, effort and necessary activities. In-service support on system and equipment level Technical management of system, equipment and component manufacturers and/or suppliers during development and in-service support Continuous monitoring of available technologies and identification of technology gaps Managing interfaces to related technical departments and functions (e.g. programme management, quality, airworthiness, procurement, technical publications, technology management) Cooperation with national and international subcontractors, suppliers, customers and partner companies.
