Job Description
This role will create social media campaigns and manage AirAsia’s social media in Japan, such as Instagram/TikTok/Twitter.
The role also focuses on various social media marketing requirements supporting the Group Airlines flying from ASEAN to Japan, including AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia, and AirAsia Philippines.
Social Media Marketing Executive Responsibilities:
- Develop social media content plans consistent with AirAsia’s brand identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving guest engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Managing a budget for promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
- Collaborating with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent.
- Developing and managing social influencer programs.
- Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate AirAsia’s social media presence and performance.
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Staying current on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Performing other duties when needed.
Social Media Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Three or more years of social media experience, including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English and must thoroughly understand social media management and strategy.
- Experience using various analytics software.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
