Share Email Opening Title Material Handler - 2nd Shift (2023-071)  Astronics Subsidiary Atronics AES   Location Kirkland, WA   Description This position is for 2nd shift, working Monday - Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. JOB SUMMARY The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders) Perform daily cycle counts Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position) Competencies: Comprehension – Understand and apply information conveyed in written and oral methods Communication – Communicate information and ideas, written and verbal, so others will understand Problem Sensitivity — Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem and notifying appropriate people.
