Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Project Manager Customs Process and Systems (d/f/m) located in Hamburg or Bremen with a possible start date of September 2023 (or earlier/later). The Airbus Customs department has to face challenges to ensure customs duties optimization and secure smooth supply chain in line with Airbus' activities You will join the Finance Transformation department, in an international environment, connected with a wide Customs and Logistic network, in collaboration with multicultural teams. You will be involved in Customs Systems transformation projects in interaction with Customs, Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistic and Finance. You will support the “One Customs” solution roll-out and interfaces with sources systems of the various Airbus location (Europe, China and North America), SAP Procurement Supply Chain & Logistic ERP convergence project: unification of the logistic SAP landscape. Your tasks and responsibilities You will be integrated into a cross-functional team able to support requests of customs needs from various countries through an internal network of existing customs experts You act as a customs expert in transformation and improvement projects You are responsible for full project life cycle activities: From concept definition until entry in service including training and change management Project management is part of your responsibility: Scope, planning, evaluation of budget request for a dedicated project You participate and/or lead multi-functional project team: Customs, Logistic, Procurement, Finance, IT You support our IT department in solution definition and validation You secure permanently the stability, reliability, quality and performance of Airbus Customs process and system Desired skills and qualifications Several years of experiences in Customs and/or Logistics projects including IT integration Profound knowledge on Logistics and Customs processes and IT Landscapes: Inbound/Outbound/Master data/Inventory and IT (SAP SD/MM and GTS would be a plus) Profound knowledge of Project Management and methodologies Educated Master’s degree in e.g. Logistics, Business Management, Engineering etc Desired soft skills You have good communication skills and the ability to convince and motivate your colleagues Working in an international and multicultural environment is inspiring for you As an open-minded person you are interested in continuous learning and you like to challenge the status quo Autonomous and at the same time team player Strong integrity and ethics as well as a strong sense of accountability is part of your DNA Desired language skills German at negotiation level English at negotiation level Any other language is welcome Business travels This position involves a willingness to travel on demand (e.g. 6 - 8 times per year within Europe and worldwide).
