Job Title: Supply Chain Manager – Supplier Development

What You’ll Be Doing
- This role will require working across all functional areas and programmes, including internal and external stakeholders across the Enterprise to ensure the Resilience activity aligns and supports ongoing business operations and supplier strategy.
- You will be conducting in-depth supplier assessments, develop and implement plans for supplier development/enablement and benefits realisation with the supply chain
- Additionally you will be responsible for the delivery of the Resilience workstreams within their area of responsibility, including governance requirements for reporting on performance
- You will be responsible for deploying Supplier Development tool sets where appropriate
- Conducting analysis and providing/delivering executive summaries, reports and presentations when required using Supplier Development trackers, templates and other formats as necessary
Your Skills And Experiences
- We’d like you to hold excellent problem-solving skills and an understanding of Lean principles and techniques such as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) and process mapping
- Internal and external assessment skills/knowledge; Business maturity, planning & control, relationship management, manufacturing excellence etc…
- You will need to have the ability to assess supplier competence & rate capability
- It would be desirable if you have SC21 Practitioner experience
- Six Sigma qualified would be desirable

The Procurement Team
The team is responsible for the development of strategic, critical and leverage suppliers across Maritime Submarines, identifying and delivering improvement initiatives to mitigate and maximising the probability of programme success, continuity and longevity of supply.
