Our client is a well-established organization that specializes in civil engineering and utility services specifically for the Airport sector.

As they continue to grow, they are currently looking for a Trainee Land Surveyor to join their team at their Crawley site.

This role will involve travel to both London Gatwick Airport and London Heathrow Airport.

A full UK driving licence is required.

Working with the Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys on airport infrastructure and improvements.

Your primary duties will be to assist the Land Surveyor by working with modern survey methods and tools like total stations, GPS, drones, laser scanners, and data collectors.

The company is prepared to offer QCF Level 3 training in Utility Surveying for the right applicant.

The duties for this Trainee Land Surveyor role will be:
• Recording of underground utility assets and manhole inspection reports and topographical surveys
• Assisting the Land Surveyor with surveys adhering to RICS and PAS 128 standards.
• Assisting with field and office surveying assignments.
• Checking of quality of information and the transition to a deliverable solution.
• Ensure all surveying kits are maintained.

The essential skills and experience required for this Trainees Land Surveyor role:

• A minimum of 2 land surveying experience within engineering or construction.
• CSCS Cardholder.
• Knowledge of PAS 128 standards

The successful Land Surveyor will receive the following:

• Up to £35,000 depending upon experience.
