Our client is a well-established organization that specializes in civil engineering and utility services specifically for the Airport sector.

As they continue to grow, they are currently looking for a permanent Land Surveyor to join their team at their Crawley site.

This role will involve travel to both London Gatwick Airport and London Heathrow Airport.

A full UK driving licence is required.

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys on airport infrastructure and improvements.

Your primary duty will involve utilizing modern survey methods and tools like total stations, GNSS, drones, laser scanners, and data collectors.


The duties for this Land Surveyor role will be:
• Establishing survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work.
• Assisting with field and office surveying assignments.
• Overseeing and checking of quality of information and the transition to a deliverable solution.
• Ensure all surveying kits are maintained.
• Process data from the field into the office, post-processing with software, such as AutoCAD.
• Working with Project Managers to provide pricing quotations for jobs.


The essential skills and experience required for this Land Surveyor role:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar surveying role.
• RICS/ ICES Qualified.
• University degree in survey in civil engineering or equivalent.
• N4CE experience or software knowledge
• Laser Scanning Experience with point cloud registration & BIM workflows
• Monitoring Experience
• UAV / Drone Experience
• GIS and/or BIM Software Experience (ArcGIS Pro, Revit, Civil 3D etc)
• CSCS Cardholder

The successful Land Surveyor will receive the following:


• Up to £65,000 depending upon experience.
