Our client is a well-established organization that specializes in civil engineering and utility services specifically for the Airport sector.

As they continue to grow, they are currently looking for a permanent Trainee Utility Surveyor to join their team at their Crawley site.

This role will involve travel to both London Gatwick Airport and London Heathrow Airport

A full UK driving licence is required.

As a Trainee Utility Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing Project Managers ad CAD operators with completed survey utility reports.

Your primary duty will involve utilizing modern survey methods and tools like total stations, GPS and data collectors.

The duties for this Trainee Utility Surveyor role will be:
• Recording of underground utility assets and manhole inspection reports and topographical surveys
• Assisting with field and office surveying assignments.
• Checking of quality of information and the transition to a deliverable solution.
• Ensure all surveying kits are maintained.

The essential skills and experience required for this Trainee Utility Surveyor role:

• A minimum of 3 years of Utility surveying experience.
• Experienced in Electromagnetic location and ground penetrating radar with GOS/GNSS acquisition.
• AutoCAD (basic)/N4CE
• Topographical Surveying experience
• Knowledge of PAS 128 and TSA
• Knowledge of GPR, CAT and Genny utility detection equipment.
• Laser Scanning experience.
• QCF Level 3 or Level 5 utility mapping

The successful Trainee Utility Surveyor will receive the following:

• Up to £30,000 depending upon experience.
