Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm, is assisting our manufacturing client in finding a Production Planner in Ladson, South Carolina. This position is responsible for developing production schedules and issuing production orders.
Responsibilities:
- Process shipments and manage all shipping documents
- Manage purchase orders and create Work Orders including BOM’s and Quality Sheets
- Schedule Work Orders in accordance with Purchase Orders, workload capacity, and availability of shop parts
- Support procurement department in issuing Purchase Orders and working with suppliers to initiate RFQ processes
- Maintain timely production and shipment processes, updating corresponding documents regularly
Qualifications: Â
- Associate’s Degree with preferred prior experience in an ISO:9001 environment.Â
- Prior experience with an ERP system
- Must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and well-organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
