Job Purpose  

 

• Responsible for developing and directing IT project management operations and strategic planning to meet organization goals with both customer and internal focus 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

Strategic Activities  

 

• Establish Methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects • Coordinate with various functional heads to identify digital solutions in the space of data and digital transformation and lead the creation of such programs  

• Monitor and analyze project metrics to identify weakness or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects  

• Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones  

• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously  

• Provide report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities to Head – Program Management Office and conform to regular cadence  

• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources along with project status tracking and reporting  

• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs  

• Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders  

• Create transitional plans and documents to outline project expectations, scope, schedule, and budget requirements  

• Lead workshops to provide staff members with information on any major changes in the company, such as new financial protocols or policies  

• Ensure that transitions are planned and carried out in a timely manner and within budget 

 

Team Management  

 

• Lead the technical team and head collaboration between Business Users and software providers to build digital solutions  

• Support, nurture and develop the team members’ skills in all digital transformation and architecture innovation aspect  

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR. 

 

Internal Interfaces  

 

Head – Program Management  

 

• Provide report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities to Head – Program Management and conform to regular cadence  

External Interfaces Vendors/Sup pliers  

• Managing services / solutions provided by third party service providers ensuring they are meeting SLAs, and other service agreements 

 

Educational and Experience Requirements  

 

Minimum Education Requirements  

 

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT or equivalent work experience  

• MBA in relevant field is preferred  

• PMP or equivalent certification preferred Minimum Requirement Desired Experience  

• 10-15 years of overall experience  

• At least 7-12 years of experience as a Project Manager in change management/IT Transformation
