Job Summary: The PC Technician is responsible for deploying IT applications and providing customer support. The role will support incident requests, servicing requests, and technical projects. Essential Functions: Provide Client Services Support which include 75% remote using IT Remote Tools. Install and configure approved hardware and software in adherence to Crane Aerospace & Electronics rules and naming conventions. Support upgrading and repairs of PC hardware and troubleshooting of PC software. Support and troubleshoot business standard application software/ Perform migrations and workstation configuration maintenance using receipt of service checklist/ Support printers and VOIP technology. Respond to IT Hotline Voicemails. Strictly abide by processes, policies, and procedures. Any other task assigned by IT Manager or Leadership. Non-Essential Functions: Maintain inventory of spare parts. Support special projects following IT Manager Project Plan. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 2+ years relevant experience in companies of comparable size and organizational complexity. Knowledge: Technical knowledge of computer equipment operation, testing, and maintenance, software installation, upgrading, and support, Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10), computer deployments and system imaging (SCCM). Skills/Abilities: Strong customer service skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work effectively on a team and with the customer community; Skill in troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving. Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered.
