Summary
Lead a team of contract administrators responsible for managing the complete life-cycle of contract administration for the Platform Training product line within the Mission Systems business.

- Supervisory Duties
- Direct and manage the workload for a team of contract administrators to ensure all required support of the P&L is met.
- Grow the breadth and capability of your Contracts team through career development plans, training, etc.
- Contract Administration Duties – Apply broad-based knowledge and experience to complete all tasks associate with full life-cycle administration of multiple, complex contracts with minimal supervision.
- Acquisition Phase – Take the lead for Contract Administration functions on major proposal efforts. Lead the negotiation team on the successful negotiation on large, complex pursuits (sole-source and competitive) in order to achieve the company’s financial goals. Where applicable, lead the effort required for compliance with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act (formerly known as the Truth In Negotiations Act).
- Administration Phase – Provide clear, concise contractual guidance on risks. Build trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and our customers. Organize contractual files in a transparent, consistent basis. Administer contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations and customer requirements.
- Closeout Phase – Closeout contracts in a timely manner to ensure all contractual obligations and all financial milestones met.
- Draft, negotiate and administer non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, license agreements and bailment agreements.
- Organizational Duties – Assist in establishing departmental policy and procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; graduate degree preferred.
- Holding a CPCM or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of direct contract administration experience; 15 years or more preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience of multiple employees in Contracts; 10 years or more preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is able to prepare complex contracts documents.
- Extensive knowledge of and expertise with commercial and Government procurement systems, regulations and statutes. This includes the Federal Acquisition Regulation (“FAR”) and its supplements.
- Extensive experience in negotiating large, complex contracts as both a prime contractor and a subcontractor.
- Extensive experience in complying with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act.
- Ability to interpret and modify proposed contractual terms and conditions.
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

- Ability to confidently brief senior leadership on key issues/problems and suggested mitigation plans.
Security Responsibilities
- Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work environment with part of the week working in a professional office environment and part of the week working remotely. Note, the ability to work remotely is subject to change, based upon business needs.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
