The EasyJet Technology teams are a bit like our planes, there are many moving parts so making sure it all works is really important. The Quality Engineering Manager will be the champion of software testing and quality for our People, Finance, Facilities, Legal and Procurement teams.

What You’ll Need To Do The Role
- Implementing and championing the Quality Engineering strategy across Corporate Technology
- Report on agreed KPI’s within the Corporate Technology team
- Responsible for implementing the shift left test approach and tooling to support this
- Accountable for all testing within Corporate Technology projects, Small Change, and BAU
- Responsible for managing End to End test activities that span across multiple teams inside and outside Corporate Technology
- Responsible for allocating and tracking progress of prioritised tasks within the team and across 3rd parties
Key Skills/experience
- Experience of working in an agile and waterfall development model ensuring quality is embedded as early as possible (shift left)
- Demonstrable experience in managing large UAT cycle (circa 30 Business users) within projects
- Successfully managing large offshore and nearshore test teams
- Demonstrable experience in managing testing of SaaS based solutions including minor and major releases (version upgrades)
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Proactively ensure the continuous development of people within the team through strong line management and the support of their Personal Development Plans.
- Active member and advocate of the internal Testing Community to drive knowledge sharing and common good practice across teams
- Active in the wider Software Community (blogs/conferences/podcasts etc)
