Key Responsibilities
The Senior Specialist - HR Operations will lead a team of 6 Staff Reps and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Pilot Service Center. This role will also provide cross functional administrative support within the overall HR Operations team covering HR Operations, System Bid and Pilot Service Center.
- Serve as the escalation point to resolve sophisticated issues or requests coming into the Pilot Service Center that cannot be resolved by the team
- Assess vendor performance to ensure SLAs are met
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all HR fields
- Finds opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partner with teams on implementation of solutions
- Ensure that effective relationships with appropriate internal partners (e.g., HR/LR, Legal, Flight Ops, IT, etc.) and external vendors are established and demonstrated to achieve stated objectives
- Develops employees and encourages positive employee engagement

What’s Needed To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience in a Human Resources or Customer Service function
- Familiarity with Company policies and guidelines
- Understanding of Federal and State HR laws and regulations
- Solid understanding of current JCBA’s
- Understanding of Discretion and Confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deal with complex issues
- Ability to make rational, realistic decisions using good reasoning and sound judgment
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with a strong employee advocacy orientation
- Professional demeanor with excellent and timely follow-up with employees/business partners
- Must be self-motivated and have an enhanced ability to prioritize/plan in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to have a sensitive approach to difficult situations
- Well organized with the solid ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to comfortably interact with all levels within the organization
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
