What you will be doing:
You will join the Commercial division of Airbus and will be on a development pathway to prepare you to play a key role in the Airbus commercial team in charge of Latin America and the Caribbean, based in Miami. Your development pathway will include two rotations, one in Marketing and one in Contracts. You can expect to be involved in the following:
Airline Marketing:45%
Participate in the airline marketing induction training program in Toulouse, France to develop product knowledge and marketing argumentation skills including performance and economic evaluation as well as fleet and network tools. Build a solid business network.
Support the marketing objectives of the Customer Affairs Directorate
Influence airline’s aircraft evaluation and purchasing decision and justify the purchase of Airbus products with prospective customers through high quality analytical support, and development of general and customized marketing argumentation in line with Airbus/campaign strategy and market/customer needs to establish competitive advantage of Airbus products
Convincingly deliver marketing analysis and argumentation with a sound logical reasoning to customer audiences through documentation, high quality presentations, or other means
Drive all types of campaigns under his/her responsibility, including major and Corporate Strategic campaigns, in the form of campaign planning and proactive definition of campaign approach, direction and framework of product pitch
Sales Operations & Contracts: 45%
Participate in the Contracts induction training program in Toulouse, France.
Support Contracts Directors in structuring aircraft sales transactions and drafting documentation (Sales Proposals, Memorandum of Understandings, Purchase Agreements, other contractual sales documentation).
Secure internal approvals from multiple internal stakeholders including Airbus top management.
Perform contractual exposure analysis, internal price, pre-delivery payment and escalation computations.
Monitor sales contracts fulfillment in the region (deliveries, PDPs) and inform Contracts and Sales Directors of any deviation.
Participate in the definition of the Business Unit yearly objectives.
Conduct market intelligence and provide any information relevant to implementation of Business Unit commercial objectives.
Provide reports on regional sales activity, orders and deliveries and Airbus contractual exposure in the region.

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:
A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Engineering, Business in relation to commercial aviation
Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
Early Career (0 to 3 years of experience) : Recently graduated or first professional experience.
Authorized to work in the USA
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Required
Basic knowledge of financial analysis tools, strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office and Google Suite applications.
Ability to prepare and give formal presentations.
Knowledge of the aviation industry with emphasis on Airbus products.
Ability to work in a team environment while being a dynamic, innovative, rigorous and a creative contributor
Contractual experience, drafting and negotiation skills would be a plus

Physical Requirements:
Onsite or remote: 20%
Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
Salary: $70.000- $80.000
