Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Serve as primary interface between our customers and Swiss WorldCargo
  • Efficiently manage customer inquiries, reservations and rate requests
  • Participate in phone sales actions and other short-term marketing activities
  • Support marketing communication to build positive customer awareness of SWC news and service development
  • Actively communicate relevant developments within you team, head office in Switzerland, other network stations and the local cargo-handling agent
  • Assure the services provided by handling agents meet Swiss WorldCargo’s industry leading quality standards
  • Provide instructions to handling agent
  • Supervise handling agent to ensure compliance with various types of company & government regulations: e.g. safety, security, etc. (TSA, CBP)
  • Perform other tasks and/or projects, as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • College Degree preferred
  • Experienced in one or more of the following environments: customer service, air cargo, aviation, logistics, operations
  • Impeccable customer service attitude
  • Initiative, reliability and quality oriented attitude
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to convincingly promote the quality image of Swiss WorldCargo
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and CRM Tools
  • Excellent command of English language: fluent in speaking & writing
  • Proficient command of another language: fluent in speaking & writing would be a benefit
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Willing to work shifts
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • CV/Resume and Cover Letter required
