We are looking for a Facilities and Store Controller to join our team at Kemble in the UK to ensure all Resource Training facilities are adequately equipped and maintained.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
In addition to the functions detailed below, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required. In addition, key objectives and targets will be set/established and agreed on appointment.
·Track workshop stock and consumable levels, placing orders to meet the demand of course deliveries as required.
·Coordinate shipment and transportation logistics of equipment, tools, and consumables between training delivery sites.
·Conduct periodic vendor reviews with the aim of maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring efficient cost management of frequently purchased goods.
·Oversee the Maintenance Policy (MPOL), ensuring that facilities and equipment are monitored for serviceability, properly maintained and available for training tasks when needed and meet health and safety requirements.
·Maintain the tracking and collation of fixed assets.
·Conduct preventative and responsive maintenance tasks across training delivery sites or coordinate the necessary suppliers to perform such tasks, whilst ensuring that any contracted work is completed in a satisfactory manner.
·Support with facility based tasks during events and day to day operations. Researching and implementing solutions for facility based issues as they arise.
·Support management with facility and procurement related projects such as establishing new facilities, altering existing structures, or enhancing facility amenities.
·Carry out fire safety marshal duties.
Qualifications:
•Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and database programs
•Previous experience in a facilities based role
