Assistant Manager, Leisure (Student & Sports)

Role Purpose
Responsible for a defined portfolio of Leisure segments with accountability for product development product pricing strategy, maintaining a product portfolio that addresses the customer base's needs, and accountable for shared sales performance with the Regional Sales team.
Key Accountability
- Responsible for managing the global leisure product portfolio, and proactively identifying opportunities for product development and business expansion across all distribution channels.
- Develop, plan and implement strategic and robust business development plan to ensure global leisure product meets its business objectives and create its challenging business objectives and create sustainable business solutions.
- Develop new business opportunities related to the leisure market segment. Manage and improve existing leisure products.
- Prepare master plan business strategy to achieve short, medium, and long-term mutual benefits across all sales distribution channels.
- Ensures leisure segment strategy is implemented in accordance with the Plan.
- Coordinate with Regional offices and steer for target achievement of Leisure segment.
- Collaborate, guide and support team at all POS globally on leisure product implementation and account relevant to Global Product (Leisure segment).
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and maximize revenue from leisure product.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the leisure market.
- Proactively identify business opportunities, upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess customer satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and address any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities and develop appropriate sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the airline industry or related sectors.
