The Boeing Company is currently looking for a US Air Force E-7A Systems and Specialty Engineering Manager (Level K) to join the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in Tukwila, WA.
This position will focus on supporting the US Air Force E-7A program. The USAF E-7 program objectives are to build and deliver two rapid prototype E-7 aircraft and associated Airborne Mission Segment and Mission Support Segment lab infrastructure include upgrade of major airborne and ground-based systems.
Candidate with relevant experience in Requirements, Verification, Integrated Testing, Product Acceptance, Systems Integration, Human Engineering, Electromagnetics Environmental Effects, Reliability and Maintainability, and Parts, Materials and Processes are encouraged to apply.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages, develops, and motivates a team of Systems Engineers in performing program statement of work.
Drives successful execution of engineering tasks involving requirements development, interface definition, system architecture, integrated testing, IPT system integration, leading design reviews, managing program risks, and performing systems/specialty engineering analyses.
Manages a group of roughly 8-12 direct reports; acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Partners with other Engineering team leaders to understand needs, meet handoff commitments, and resolve issues.
Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
3+ years of formal or informal experience in engineering leadership.
5+ years of experience leading and/or performing analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance or other specialties engineering disciplines.
Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery.

Summary pay range for role: $147,050 - $198,950
