Description:We are Lockheed MartinJoin the passionate Radar Cross Section Operations team, responsible for operating and maintaining highly advanced radar measurement equipment relied on by our customers.
As a Staff RF Test Engineering with The Skunk Works Labs Ranges department, you will work alongside the site manager at a state-of-the-art outdoor Radar Cross Section (RCS) Antenna (RF) measurement facility in Helendale, California. The Helendale Measurement Facility is the legacy of Lockheed Martin Skunks works, for the past 40 years this facility has been responsible to accurately report data performance of articles that provide answers to tough developmental questions.
As someone who is fluent in your craft, you may find yourself working with the test teams to prepare and implement test procedures and may be frequently sought after for assisting with solutions to problems in support of the mission. Beyond that, you may also find yourself:
• Addressing facility issues. Working with Palmdale facility maintenance. Supporting the test shift when necessary. Testing and operating site systems. Accomplishing maintenance as needed in support of operations to ensure testing is completed.
• Project management for site systems Testing subsystems and/or system antennas.. Ensuring RF testing requirements with programs and other organizations are met Creating, evaluating, and implementing test procedures based on existing test requirements.
• Responsible for site integrity through verification/validation and applying standards and best practices.
• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining site systems

Desired Skills:Strong knowledge and ability of facilities systems, such as HVAC, Basic Electrical, and Hydraulic Systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $76,600 - $146,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $88,100 - $166,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
